About Joe Dallal

I started behind the counter. From 1999 to 2008 I was at Big A Drug Stores in Southern California, first as Pharmacy Operations Manager and then as Senior Vice President of Operations, responsible for the whole business: purchasing, inventory, compliance, staffing, and the P&L. Running a regional pharmacy chain teaches you that margin lives in purchasing discipline and that trust lives in never once shipping something you can't account for.

From 2008 to 2012 I moved to the long-term-care side with JCA, handling administration and operations for facilities whose residents depend on medication management being done right every single day.

In 2013 I founded Cornerstone Health Group on a premise I'd learned the hard way as a pharmacy operator: the size of a facility shouldn't determine the price it pays. We do healthcare supply the way I'd wanted my suppliers to do it: direct relationships with manufacturers, honest lead times, product that is what the label says it is. Over the years that has meant truckloads of infection-control supplies, respiratory protection, point-of-care diagnostics, and injection and surgical consumables, working alongside tier-one distributors, buying groups, and contract manufacturers, and with supplier relationships that include Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) and Centor Rx.

In 2022 I co-founded Guided Healthcare with John Stafira and Jeremy Crotts. Direct-to-consumer healthcare had proven people would buy care online, but the tooling behind it was built for selling, not for treating. We're building the clinical infrastructure that connects labs, prescribing, pharmacy fulfillment, and follow-up so a brand can deliver ongoing care for chronic conditions, not just a one-time script. The platform is patent-pending and powers UniquelyMe™ and MySpecialtyDoc.

I hold a B.S. in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. I live in Los Angeles with my family.
